The concept of SmartLock.

SmartLock prevents a page from edited by different users at the same time. More correctly, it prevents more than one user from entering the Edit Mode of a page at the same time.

When a user (whether Master User or Slave User) enters the Edit Mode of a page, the time is recorded and the file is locked to other users. In the Editable File List of other users, the locked file will appear gray in color and a small lock icon will show up next to the filename. Any attempt to enter the file's Edit Mode will result in error.
